Yesterday was the birthday of one of the kids on my bus. He turned five. All during camp I'd ask him how old he was, and he'd say "faw and twee quawtas" because he couldn't pronounce his r's or th's yet. I'd ask him what his birthday was and he'd say "Octobah twenny-fawd". It was the funniest thing. It pretty much became our little inside joke, because I'd talk like he did and he'd start laughing so much.

Well I just wanted to wish him a happy birthday!

 :birthday:

Yeah, I always have to laugh whenever I read that story. I remember him trying to pronounce "third". I'd say it and then he'd say it. He'd never get it though. He'd say "thawd". Oh, those were some good times... :o

I'll be sure to let you all know! Who knows, maybe I'll see him before then. That would be awesome!
