I am in the process of planning an all-years camp staff reunion for Girl Scouts of Utah. We're looking for former camp staff, CITs and WITs who worked at any Girl Scout Camp in Utah ever. This includes camps which are no longer in operation as well as Cloud Rim and Trefoil Ranch. If you or someone you know, fits this description, please either post here or PM or email me. The reunion will take place at Cloud Rim next summer and will likely be a one day event on a weekend. We're still in the early planning stages so we do not have an exact date set, but I will post it here as soon as more details are confirmed.

:)

The planning committee for this event has finally secured a date for the event. Please, if you or someone you know ever worked at Girl Scout camp in Utah, pass this message on to them. It will be a one day event with an optional overnight. July 29-29, 2007.

Our Promotional message:

Remember When?

"Remember when you were younger and had fewer things to worry about? Remember when you had the time to lie in the sun and listen to the birds sing? Remember when you took an entire summer and worked for the sake of the children? How about working 24 hours a day, 6 days a week, and only earning pennies an hour? Those were the days when we didn't care about the income, just about being out in nature with the girls and helping them learn about the world around them.

Wanna revisit those days? We do!!!

The summers may not seem as long as they used to, but this summer you can relive your time working at Girl Scout camp at the multi-year, multi-camp staff reunion!!! If you've ever worked at Camp Cloud Rim, Trefoil Ranch, or even Echoing Pines or Camp Red Cliff, then you are invited to attend this once-in-a-lifetime camp staff reunion. All former staff members, former CIT's and WIT's from Girl Scouts of Utah are invited to reunite this summer.

Sing around the campfire, make wood cookies, and hike the old familiar trails. Revisit a time when you lived all summer in a tent and slept out under the stars. Remember old friends like Chip and Scooter and tell your best camp stories to the others who have been there.

Summer camp was always the best place to be and always holds the best memories for us all. This summer, we have the chance to relive those times and reconnect with the friends and the places that created magic moments we treasure.

Come share your camp history with us this July 28-29 at Camp Cloud Rim. Watch the Trooper and the Girl Scouts of Utah web site for more details, and we'll see you there!"
