Leaving for Vacation

Just letting everyone know that I'll be going on vacation on Saturday and won't be back until next Saturday (August 26). I'm posting now because I'll be busy tomorrow as we have our last day of camp (luckily it's only a half day!) and then I have to get ready to go. I might stop by tomorrow. We'll see how things work out. If I don't stop by, I'll see you all in a few days!

haha actually not so sure what i'm doing now b/c i'm going w/my cousin and we're both 19 and his mom thinks you have to be 21 to go on a cruise alone...so i think we may just go to an island and stay there. probably punta cana in the dominican republic.

Hello everyone I'm back! :) It was a lot of fun. Sad that it's over though.

camper - I'm pretty sure you have to be 21 to go by yourself. If you're under 21, you have to go with someone over 23 or something like that. I'm not sure if all lines do this, but my sister (who's 20) wanted to go away with some friends, but no one was over 21 so they couldn't do it.

I wouldn't recommend Punta Cana. My sister went there. First of all, she didn't like the food. Then again, she's a very picky eater, so I'm sure you'd probably like it better than her. Anyway, I also wouldn't recommend it because we think she got a parasite while she was there. After she came back she'd have constant cramps and stomach aches for weeks. It eventually went away, but it was a pain while it lasted (no pun intended :P ).

hmmm thats funny everyone else i've heard of thats been there loved it...do you have any suggestions for us? we need a reasonably priced place on a nice island haha.

I don't really have any suggestions, as we basically only cruise. You could try it if you want, it's just that my sister had a bad experience. I'm sure she's the exception, not the rule.
