List of songs to play

I need to make a list of songs that are child appropriate and are upbeat. The songs are played at our waterfront and the more help I get with this the better. I'm a fan of mellow and old music, the kids that come to camp are not.

Anything beach boys is always fun on the waterfront, any oldies, disney. The best songs are the ones that everyone knows the words too.

Joni Mitchell's big yellow taxi - actually anything by Joni Mitchell, Simon and Garfunkle, most of the beatles stuff, CSNY - oldies are generally goodies.

Pretty much any of the jock jams are very upbeat. They are used at basketball games during warm up. Although a few could be inappropriate to play at a camp. I burned a bunch of htem to a CD for our morning wake up session and it got the kids awake. You just kinda gotta go through them and listen to them and take out what you think is inappropriate.
