Hello , Ny name is Billy , I have worked in summer camps since I was 18 years old.. I am now 50 .. Oh me. I have worked in as much as 5 weeks of camp each summer. I love this stuff..

I usually work at our church camp in NC. Just found this forum this past week.
Looking forward to sharing with others.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.

A Little more about myself.

I started attending summer camp when I was 11 years old.

1 week each summer.. I loved it. Continued going till I was about 19. I then started working in some younger camps.. Pee Wee.. 8-10 year olds. That was back in the early 70's.

After getting married Both my wife and myself continued working in camps. Over the past 30 years I have spent about 12-15 months of it in summer camps..

This year I am working in our Jr and Jr High camps.. ages 9-12..
One camp I am the night watchman and the other I will be doing the Audio/Video stuff.

The Camp I work at is Camp Maranatha in Hight Point , NC.
