Who on here is either major or minoring in this?

Well I am still at Community College as a Liberal Arts major taking all my general education. But God willing after next year in fall 2007 I will be going to Kean University to major in Recreation Administration with a Concentration in Comunity Recreation.

I am a student member of both the ACA and National Recreation and Park Association

I'm the only freshmen at Aurora University who is a Rec admin majior who is specializing in outdoor leadership.

I graduated with a diploma in Recreation Leadership last June. I still may do 2 more years and get my major in it, but right now I have a full time job in my field so I'm quite happy with just the 2 years at Communitty college.

I just finished my freshman year!!!! I changed my major from Nursing to Rec management. I am really excited to start my new classes in the fall!

I greaduated with a Recreation Management Degree from Central Michigan. I have a Outdoor Concentration. It was a great program with great people.

Are you going to stick with camping or move on with you new degrees?

I'm not really sure...since I'm working in municipal recreation right now, I'm really just lucky to get to still work with camping. My ultimate goal for the degrees is to end up teaching at a university. My biggest complaint about my professors was that they didn't have any "real world" experience. Teaching has become my plan for a "retirement job." I'd love to get back into residential camping but I have personal reasons that are keeping me in Texas, and full-time positions are somewhat hard to come by here.

I love how you put did not have Real World Experience. I know I had a big problem with that when I was in school. Well good luck.. What ever is ment to be will happen.
