Hey,
Just a short note, but ages ago, I asked for some advice about a youth group I was setting up for refugees and asylum seekers with a friend. It got underway and was hard going but we've got a core base of regular members now, and as the year is up, we handed it over to a couple of fab people who will make it even bigger and better.
Anyway! I just got back from the Leeds University Volunteering Awards, and our project won both 'Project for Hard to Reach Group', and 'Best Project'! I was really chuffed, and completely made up a set of thank yous because we didn't think we stood a hope of winning anything!
Just to let you know, and thank you all for any advice you gave :D
