Bug Juice/Camp Caribou

So, I'm sitting here, munching on choclate bunnies, reading posts and I've finally decided to ask a question I've needed to ask for some time: all I hear about on the aca website and now in this thread is this bug juice thing. What is it?

And, for a uniquly Canadian spin, do any of my fellow canucks remember Camp Caribou? Now that was television at its finest! That was the coolest camp.

Bug Juice was a show on Disney that showed how things work at American summer camp. If I remember correctly some of the things that happened there would have never happened at my camp. Those kids got away with a lot. That could be wrong it's been a while since that show was on.

bug juice was a disney reality show that followed a bunch of kids through their summer at camp. there were 3 seasons of it, each at a different camp...the 1st season at waziyatah was the best in my opinion.

Bug juice was actually an issue with the filming cause if you ever wen to a camp u whould know that they left alot out. If it was on HBO it would be better.... Was camp Caribou like bugjuice or like Salute Your Shorts ( i work at the hotel that owns their outdoor sets).

Man, I spent about an hour googling camp caribou and couldn't find anything. You guys are awesome! And let me tell you, my office is nothing like it at camp. Everyone needs hats like they had!

The best part of the show was when they did the puppets - it was people's chins with faces painted on them and they were upside down. It's actually a good activity/talent to do at camp.

One year my friend, at her birthday party, did the chin thing. We picked a song (something backstreet boys) and took turns rotating through singing a line at a time. Her parents and older sister worked the song, stopping and playing it, and the video camera recording it. After the party, her parents made everyone a copy of the chin-song (it runs smoothly through the song), and there's also things like blowing out candles and opening gifts on the video. I still have it!!

You don't have to go THAT extreme at camp, but it's obviously a popular activity! (I've never done it at my camp - uhm.. impossible w/ 60 kids in wheelchairs) but it would be fun to do!

I loved Bug Juice. (And still do) Now that it's not on anymore I guard the 2 taped episodes I have with my life.
Although I seem to be having memory lapse concernign Camp Caribou =S

Sigh. Man i missed bug juice cuz it we didn't carry the channal...plus i didn't watch much tv then. Ok kind of OT cuz my brain is jumbled, but wasn't there some zombi cartoon guy that dressed in black and white that was called bug juice? idk i'm kind of confused about that...i mean i was pretty young so my memory isn't that sharp from there!
