Hi all,
I just figured that I would post, I have been visiting the site for a while bu t just know decided to join. I am working as a counselor for my first time this summer; I am going from northern California all the way to Portland Maine and will be working at Camp Waziyatah. speedx5xracer,
Yes, the camp was the one filmed by Disney, for the first season of Bug Juice.
ArtisticEric,
I will be flying out in mid-June and will return just in time to go back to school in August, so my summer will be very busy but hopefully fun!

I heard that disney has a three season rule on new shows and that after three season most of them get cancled unless they are really popular... i dont know for sure. Hope that helps:)
ps. I also heard that they were planning a 4th one but the camp backed out...which doesn't follow the 3 seson rule but thats all i know

I only thought that bugjuice ran for one summer. What other two camps did the show?

the other 2 camps were Camp Highlander in i think NC, and Brush Ranch Camps in NM (which is no longer in business.)

Look what happens when you are on TV! I don't think that I would ever want something like that at my camp!

Season one was Camp Waziyatah in Maine, Season two was Camp Highlander in North Carolina and the third was Brush Ranch in New Mexico . Brush Ranch actually closed a 2 years ago i think its only open to small groups now.
