Delaware YMCA day camp needs counselors

The Western Family YMCA in Newark, Delaware is now hiring enthusiastic counselors for all of its summer day camp programs including traditional camp groups ages 5-13, sports camp (basketball, soccer, baseball, hockey, and frisbee), and specialty camp (fishing, dance, cheerleading, skating, jewelry-making, art, cooking and bowling). Responsibilities include constant monitoring, supervision and program planning for groups of 20 campers. Candidates must be flexible, patient, enthusiastic, well organized, and knowledgeable in a variety of techniques. Responsibilities include planning, directing, and supervising a safe, age-appropriate creative arts and crafts program for day campers between the ages of 5 and 13; also coordinating with Specialty Camp staff for “Art Camp Week”.
