My name is Blair, and I'm Program Director for a brand spankin' new camp debuting on the West Coast this summer called Camp Quest West (http://campquestwest.org), an affiliate of the original Camp Quest which was founded by Edwin Kagin as an alternative to Scout camps (due to the nature of their discriminatory policies).
Camp Quest is a secular kids' camp that promotes critical thinking skills.
I've been working all sorts of camps for the last six or seven years, but this is the first time that I have such a huge responsibility. I'm nineteen and a sophomore in college.
I've joined because I'm hoping to get some insight on what works for camps and what contributes to a successful camp program.
Thanks!
