I just got hired to work at Camp Taconic for this upcoming summer. I'm super excited but also really nervous. I've never worked or been to an overnight camp! If anyone has any suggestions in general, or if anyone is working at Camp Taconic this summer and has advice for me, let me know!! Thanks!!!

I actually have wanted to work at a camp for a few years, but always have had other commitments. My major is Elementary Education and I've wanted to be a teacher forever, so it just seemed like a natural choice for a summer job. I am a little nervous though, because I am a little bit of a girly girl and am used to living in the city! I've been reading a lot about summer camps and I'm really excited to go, I wish it was summer already!!
