Refer Members and Get Karma

If you refer someone to our site, you'll receive 100 Karma points! To refer someone, just have them sign up as usual. But while they're registering, have them enter your forum username in the Referrer box. This way you'll get credit. Remember that they can't add you as their referrer after they register, they must enter your username while they're registering.

After they register, you must post in this thread that you referred them in order to receive your points!

I have worked hard and have gotten two new people on this board. Kimmy and campismylife. I will keep working to get more people on this board. I have had a lot of staff over the years who I think can get and give a lot of info for younger staff!

So ... this Karma thing ... what exactly does having high Karma get you?

Is this like the "points" thing that we sometimes do with kids where we award them points and they get excited without realising that points don't actually mean anything?

If someone likes your post or ideas, they can give you Karma.. If you would like to give Karma at the top of each post the is a hourglass thing that you need to click on and you can give karma. If you look in your profile you can see who has given you Karma and what it was for.

I just refered everyone on ACA who was fed up with all the spam to come here and so far Tootsie and ermie has - i dont know if they put that I refered them though.
