Sorry to everyone who didn't receive this. Something got screwed up (twice) and it never sent it to a certain group of people. Not sure what's wrong.

To make up, I'm posting the article here, even though I usually leave it out of the post. Enjoy!

NEWSLETTER ARTICLE (by collissimon)

What follows is a fictional account of an eleven-year-old camper’s summer at Summit Camp, Pennsylvania. Summit is a camp for children with emotional, social and behavioural difficulties, such as ADHD, Asperger’s Syndrome, or juvenile on-set bi-polar disorder. It has a no-sugar, all natural kosher food policy. ‘Camper’ is writing home to his parents about his first summer at camp. He is in the youngest unit, aged between 10-12 years old.

Dear Mom,

I got here OK. The bus journey went on for hours, but I was sat next to this quiet kid called Harry who showed me some new things to do on my Game Boy.

The campers in my cabin are alright I suppose, but some of them have really strange accents. Speaking of weird accents, none of my counselors can speak properly! Nicole is from Australia, Jon and Simon are from England. Jon sounds a bit like a farmer.

We met Pete, he’s Canadian, who’s our Unit Leader. He walks round with the walkie-talkie and plans our evening activities. We did an introduction to all the other counselors. There are a lot of English and Canadians- not one American! Remember to mail me I need my Game Boy games.

Talk soon- they make us email during Computers!

MILESTONES
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The site is growing very well. Some more milestones made this past month: a recent surge in registrations brought us up to a grand total of 210 members (as of writing this)! Along with the increase in members came an increase in posting. We're now around 7,240 posts. Thanks to everyone who posts and visits our site daily! Keep up the good work.

COUNTRY AND STATE FLAGS
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
I installed a feature this past month: country and state flags. I must say that this went over surprisingly well. Everyone seems to be proud to show off their country's flags, as well as state flags. You can show yours off as well by editing your profile. Note that you must choose a country in order for your state flag to show up.
