All That I Need - Blind Melon

I'm obsessed with Blind Melon. I love the video for "no rain". While I'm not listening to it right now, when I went for my run earlier I listened to 15 Robert Munsch stories.

I love Blind Melon, the video for 'No Rain' is really awesome, although my favourite Blind Melon song is 'Soul One'.

At the moment I'm listening to Just Might (Make Me Believe) by Sugarland

Burnout ceremony? Whats that?

At the end of camp, we have a feast and an awards ceremony for staff and campers who have been there a long time (it'll be my fourth year this summer, so I get a hoodie :)). Then we all go down to the waterfront for the burnout ceremony. First, two people do a dance to Aqua's Aquarious, in black clothing, lined with glo-sticks, which looks really cool, but the two guys who were responsible for that have left the last couple of years, so I think it might be time a change. Then, the eight ULs go out onto the dock holding a candle, and the Program Director calls out each Unit to say goodbye to them, and then the UL blows out the candle.

Finally, the Waterfront Director sets a steel structure with petrol soaked rags alight, creating flames the shape of the year, and then that's it! I may have got the order wrong, but you get the gist! :)

Oh, and I'm listening to Paul Weller again... gotta love the Modfather!

I did indeed get my visa... it's my third time I've been there so I know what to expect.

The voice is annoying because you have to constantly pay attention (they call you up in a random order), so you can't just relax and read your book.
