Add Your Camp!

I just realized I never made an announcement on this. Anyway, I was asked if we could have a map for everyone to plot their camps. I couldn't find a hack for the forums for this, but I did find a website that offers this.

Our camp is located at: http://www.frappr.com/talkcamp (http://www.frappr.com/talkcamp)

Simply sign up for the site (it's free), and add your camp. The best way to do this is to switch the map to Hybrid mode. Then look for your camp. After you find it, single-click on the map and it should place a marker there. Save it. That's it.

To make things easier, you probably should sign up with your forum name, although you don't have to.

If you have any questions, post them in this thread or check out the help section at that website.

Okay... I screwed up and now I'm on the map twice. Lol. It took me a bit to figure out how to place my marker instead of letting it place the marker for me. So the one where the road says "Girl Scout Cmp" is right. :) Can you delete the other, Dave?

I'll try. Since they both have the same name, it's a 50/50 chance in deleting. I hope I delete the right one. :P

My marker is in the dead center of the lake in the younger camp the smaller one next to it is our lagoon where our ropes course is and the larger one is the lake of our older camp.

Dave, can you delete the one camp in Washington, Camp River Ranch? It's annoying me that it's not in exactly the right spot, instead of actually being on the camp it's on the golf course that's in the next town... I'll re-add my camp once you've deleted it :)

audur-- scroll down on the page that the map is on and where theres a little box to leave a message it says location: (modify). click on modify and you can change the location without going through deleting it

Well, I stupidly didn't join when I added my camp, so I don't think I can modify my location.

Geez there are only like 5 camps west of the Mississippi. I feel kind of isolated lol.
