Ok so I have a lot of stories, but here's a good one for ya. So it was the last week of camp so we had our very last group of kids. It was a Monday night which was the girls overnight. But since it was towards the end of summer the weather wasn't too great and it had been raining alot. I didn't know wether we were going to have an overnight or not becuase even it wasn't raining at the time we left it could rain in the middle of the night (and we didn't sleep in tents, we just slept under the stars) plus the ground was most likely wet. So all of teh girsl counselors got together with our Female head counselor and talked about going or not. A lot of the counsleors wanted to go becuase it was the last week and it was our last chance to do an overnight for like 9 months, but a bunch of teh other counselors were burnt out and just wanted to sleep in their cabins. But we had already told our girls we were going to go, so we came up with a plan. So we all went back to our cabins and had our campers pack up of their stuff and get ready for our overnight. So they rolled up their sleeping bags and what not and we met all of the other girls at the bell tower. We said bye to the boys and then headed of in the direction of our usual camping spots. All of teh counselors were particularly smiley and care free as we carried nothing but a water bottle and all of our girls were struggling to carry all of their stuff. We hiked the girls for a long time and then pretended to get lost and then kept hiking. The girls kept asking if we were there yet and we kept saying, just a little bit further. Surprisingly enough none of the girls never caught on to the fact that we were going in a giant circle. We got to a spot in the trail where you could start to see lights and some of the older girls started saying stuff liek "that looks like our camp". We gathered all of the girls together and then all of the counsleors and I stood in front of all of them and all screamed at the same time "You got Punk'd!" I then proceeded to tell them that we hiked them all around the national forest, but we were actually sleeping in Holmes Hall!! The girls were like "WHAT?! You made us hike for miles, and we are sleeping at camp!!" All of the counsleors were laughing and were like ya, didnt you wonder why we didn't have our sleeping bags? It was all pretty hilarious and we took all of the girls into Holmes and had a big sleepover in there, but for a few days there were several campers that were mad at me and a few wouldn't even talk to me because they thought the whole thing was my idea. Funny Stuff, but if I ever talk to campers from that session they always say "You remember that time when you guys PuNK'd us!"

lol thats so funny!

i have a few punking stories as well...

the girls a year younger than me where in their last summer as campers. they had gotten a huge lecture at the beginning of the summer about being appropriate w/the boys, so they were scared to death about getting in trouble and never even TOUCHED them. so one night their grouphead got them all together and started yelling at them, saying "what was the 1 thing we told you to be careful about??? i'm sooo disappointed in you" etc. etc., the girls were so upset, and then at the end of her lecture she was like "oh and btw you have 2 mins to get ready, you're having a party at the directors' house" and they were like "AHHHH!" lol she had them going for awhile.

another thing that we did one time was tell a group of 13 year olds that they were playing this game that the older girls HATE with the youngest girls (who like the game) for their evening activity. they were upset all day, turns out they were going bowling w/the boys. haha!
