View Full Version : Which way is it for you?
I've heard many people say it before, but now lets make it into a poll. Do you go to school/work/whatever in between camp sessions or do you go to camp in between school/work/whatever sessions?
For me, I live between camp sessions.

Dave- I work at camp all the time. How do I vote? It's work for me so I never am done..
I guess you could vote thinking of the time when the campers are there as "camp", and the rest of the year as "work".

I go to camp, and I do various other things in the off-season, just to pass the time.

Even though I'm not at camp it's still all I think about and it's been this way since I was a kid.
We wait 10 months to go to our special place for 2 months out of the year, somehow it's never enough but it gets us by; without it were empty, but with it there it's just enough to recharge for another 10 months of hybernation before we feel it again.

My camp is my life!!! Everythig else just fills the space in between!
It's funny how, toward the end of camp, we're worn out and maybe even want it to be over. But the day after it is over we miss it. Strange how that happens.

I was a OE camp staff, and now I can ether work at walt disney world in FL or be a nanny in CT but I would work at camp all year round.

I don't know if I'd wanted it to be over - I think I was just ready for an extended break - unfortunately (and like many of us I imagine) 9 months isn't quite what I would have in mind given the choice !!

I agree. 9 months is much too long. :(

That is one of the reasons I love my job. We have school's out break camp on all of the school breaks. Next week I get 35 campers!
