sports day:
camp is divided into 10 teams (about 30 girls on a team). all of the teams are named after colleges and each gets a color to wear (which can be kind of difficult at a unifrom campl, but somehow the kids manage to find all of their colors). anyway, the teams separate into lower camp and upper camp, lower plays together and upper plays together. all of the games are "weird" sports, not ones we play in a normal camp day, like water polo, capture the flag, ultimate frisbee challenge, cross the river, trashball, rink soccer, water balloon volleyball, BBK, etc. the scores are added by points, not winning or losing, so even if you lose a game you still get the points you got.

red white and blue day:
on the 4th of july. the camp is divided into red, white and blue teams. in the morning, we have a bucket brigade which is when each team lines up, single file, from the lake to front campus. on front campus there are 3 barrels, one for each team. one of the PC captains of the each team stands in the lake, the other stands at the barrel. there are 3 buckets by each barrel and 3 for each team at the lake. when the race starts, the buckets from the barrel get passed down the line to the lake and the buckets at the like get filled and passed down the line to the barrel, trying not to spill on any water. each person has to touch each bucket and full ones are dumped by the PC into the barrel and the empty ones are filled at the lake and passed back. it keeps going until the barrel has been filled and dumped twice. the team to do it first wins. then we have a hula hoop pass in the same line. then there's a normal general swim and a bbq lunch. then we have an all camp apache relay, another general swim, showers, and a normal dinner. evening activity is a 4th of july show put on by the senior girls.

I love it during Hawaiian week when we od our huge Hawaiian games and stuff and it basically turns into a huge staff waterfight!!!

The best theme day at camp for us is water day! Every thing has to do with water. We did have a get down and dirty day, but the parents were not too happy when they came to pick up their child and they were covered in red clay. You have to love Georgia!!! The campers love that day.
