pop corn garlands

you can make angels with paper clips and beads, snow flakes using beads.

I seen a really cool idea of snowflakes or iciles. You make the shape you want in pipe cleaners and then tie some string to it and then hang it from a pencil which is across the top of a jar, in the jar there is solution of borax and water - over night the borax will crystalise onto the pipe cleaners and should look really cool!

You could have a scavenger hunt where they have to collect the pieces to make a snow man.

They could make mince pies

they could learn about christmas traditions around the world - for example in britian we have chirstmas pudding which a fruit pudding in which you traditional hide small trinkets like a shinney penny - and then they could make christmas puddings.

Hi, I was wondering how registration is going (or did go) for your winter camp? I just read an article that day care centers offering winter camps were suffering from low enrollment due to the economy. But I wasn't sure about day camps so I'm hoping yours went well!
