I have two announcements to tell everyone.
The first one is that I am now allowing all members to post replies to announcements in this forum. I decided it was stupid to have to make two threads for one announcement. So I decided to allow all members to post replies in this forum. So feel free to leave comments on this announcement, previous announcements, and future announcements as well. Just remember that you cannot create threads in this forum, only reply. Enjoy! :cool:
The second announcement concerns our rankings in a search engine. Unfortunately we're not liked by Google. A search for "talk camp" shows we're around 6 in the rankings. Yahoo dislikes us even more. When searching "talk camp", we're not even in the top 10! Oh well. But there is a silver lining to this dark cloud. MSN loves us! Sure, not many people use this search engine, but for those who do we're ranking pretty high. A search for "talk camp" brings us in at #1. When searching "counselor forums", two pages on our site are the first two listings. "camp talk" has us at #4. "camp forums" has our registration page listed at #2. Right now those are the only search engines I've checked, and the only searches I've tried. If you have any other results that aren't listed here, please post them in this thread!
