Activities for mixed age groups

Need activities to occupy age ranges from 4, 8, 9, 10 and 14, there will be 4 adults on site.

This has been my biggest problem with camping with children, these children are my own along with a friends, some of the activities are either to boring to the older ones or to hard for the younger ones.

I want to keep everyone busy and at the same time keep them happy.

Any help is appreciated.

I'd say that something simple like soccer, or something like tag works fairly well for that sort of situation at my camp. Of course it does tend to depend on the attitudes of your older players.
