We are trying to figure out a salary for our caretaker at camp.

This person is responsible for general upkeep & major remodeling projects PLUS fundraising, local promotions, church & civic group visits, hosting off season rental groups and more.

We are currently providing housing, utilities and phone service, but want to offer a cash salary as well. What kinds of compensation do other camps offer?

For someone good you are looking at starting them at $32,000 but with all you have listed a max of about $40,000 is what it's going to take.
