Horse Riding

I was just curious about the sort of things those of you that have worked with horses have done in your lessons?

In our lessons, we usually go over basics: walking, steering, stopping (we play red light/green light a lot), stretches on the horse, patterns, trotting, and cantering (all assuming the group's ready). We ride Western, but the most advanced riders will get to try English and bareback. We also teach grooming and saddling, horse sense and psychology, colors, markings, breeds, teeth, barn management, horse and tack parts, etc.
I remember when I was a camper (my last year, at the most advanced stage), we played horse tag: Tag on horses, in our rather small arena. Dangerous? Oh, definitely. Fun? Yes!
