There is positions open at the Camp that I work at for the summer of 2008.
Camp Scherman, a 700 acre resident camp located in the beautiful San Jacinto Mountains, is owned and operated by the Girl Scout Council of Orange County. The fully accredited camp is recognized as one of the finest youth camps in California, and has been providing powerful and lasting experiences for girls for more than 35 years. Camp Scherman offers timeless outdoor activities that include swimming, canoeing, hiking, rock climbing, horseback riding, outdoor cooking, backpacking, archery, crafts, and more. The camp’s beautiful and pristine environment offers a pool, two lakes, and a variety of sleeping accommodations that include heated cabins, platform tents with shelters and flush toilets, and even rustic camp sites for more adventurous campers. A variety of different types of camping experiences for girls and adults are offered at Camp Scherman.
We are looking for Riding staff, Rocks staff and Unit staff. We are always looking for kitchen staff as well. The positions are open to any qualified personnel. Meaning you do not need to be female to work here.
