I figure that beacuse you are on this board you have to be pretty addicted to camp, but I was wondering how camp crazy you are....
For Example,
I have a wall in my room that is covered in camp stuff:T-shirst, Pictures, Awards, Letters. I have several articles of camp clothing that I wear constantly. My school folders are covered in camp pictures. I sitll use camp inside jokes when talking to my friends and they all look at me funny. I tell stories about camp in my Public speaking and Storytelling classes. I write school papers all around camp topics. I E-mail my best friend from camp every day and I visit her every couple of weeks! I LOVE CAMP!!!
What about you guys?

Very i joined multiple camp forums, Ive worked on side projects to better my camp. and most of my free time i talk to camp people.
I guess I'm pretty crazy about camp if I opened this site. :P I also have a drawer full of camp stuff in my room. When it's short sleeves whether I wear my camp shirts even if it's not camp time. And I also say inside jokes all the time that no one else understands.

I talk to atleast 2 camp people on the phone a day, and many more online. Everytime i have to write a paper for my english class i think of how i can relate it to camp, and all but 2 pictures hanging in my room are from camp.

oh boy you don't want to know. 99% of my pics on my wall at school are camp pictures, i wear camp clothes to sleep every night and also assorted items during the day, i have all of my camp music on my ipod and bugged out today b/c the new cd came out and i won't have it until friday or saturday. most of my away messages are about camp. i'm an avid poster on the aca boards and this one. i talk to camp friends on the phone/online every single day. i start counting the days the day after i get home. everyone knows i'm obsessed and makes fun of me for it. i can't wait to get home at the end of nov to look at all of the new camper applications, group them, and help my mom make the bunks. i ask my mom for camp updates on the phone every single day. my computer desktop is a picture of my bunk. and i write camp songs in my head when i'm bored in class and then sing them in the shower. and thats not all, there are many more ways that i can't even think of right now.

Yay! im not alone. Really though, is liking camp this much actually healthy? i find myself sometimes feeling guility about loving camp this much. i guess because it is really not that much of the year. yet i live from summer to summer. im always thinking of camp situations. rather they really happended or how its going to be in the future. i mean to get myself motiviated for certain things i think..."now if i was at camp..." or "this will help when i go to camp..." do people who dont go to camp really get sick of us talking about it? ok maybe i went off on a limb but you guys already listed all the stuff i do. so i guess those were just my thoughts!

I LOVE CAMP. A lot of my clothing is camp clothing. I am always telling stories from camp to my friends. When I can I write stories and papers for my classes about camp experiences. I used camp experiences on my college applications. I am always emailing friends from camp. I always look at pictures from camp. I LOVE CAMP

I tend to get distracted a lot thinking about camp. Sometimes I'll catch myself day-dreaming. When it comes down to it, you must be pretty obsessed about camp if you day-dream about it. :P

My boyfriend has informed me that when we get married in 3 years, camp has to stop. I informed him if we were moving to Oregon, that was fine, but I was coming home to go to camp. :) It's the only arguement we have... Oops. Poor boy. He knows that my ultimate goal is to direct at least a few summers - so I guess we'll see.
But I'm completely obsessed with camp. 270 days until pre-camp begins, 277 days until I have to have the Ad-Staff song written. :)

I'm pretty much obsessed. I have a wall of camp photos, poems, and other random stuff, I own more camp related clothing than regular clothing and wear it often, I talk about camp constantly and most of my friends have banned me from using the C-word too much, I already have a countdown to next summer, 218 days to go!!

I have waited so long to be a counselor. I can't Wait!
I plan on starting a countdown for myself as well soon. Maybe I'll even be able to install a hack here that'll let you add a countdown to your profile. We'll see...

Denial is the first stage of addiction and admitting you have a problem is the first step to fixing it and BOY OH BOY do I have a problem! I LOVE camp! Obsessed! It's all I think about- it's all I talk about. In my spare time I plan programs and try to guess what who my co counselors will be next year and what my campers names will be and what cabin I'll be in. I wear at least 1 item of camp clothing everyday at some point in the day. I have a scrapbook from every summer I've ever been to camp. Every CD I have has at least 1 song- if not all that I can relate to camp for whatever reason. Certain foods, tastes, colors and even driving on certain streets remind of camp. I like to drive up the hill in my friends neighborhood because it is curvy and steep and it reminds of me the roads by my camp. I post on these websites. I call my camp friends in the middle of the night to talk about camp. I talk about camp 90% of the time and the other 10% I hope someone else will bring it up. I draw pictures of our logo and cabins as my doodle when I'm in class and at night when I can't sleep I watch the old camp videos. I make friendship bracelets at home and I rent movies like Wet Hot American Summer, Meatballs and Heavy Weights all in the same night so I can have marathons. I love the days I can camp mail or an email from my director. I jumped up and down when every message on my facebook wall was from a camp friend. I IMed everyone yesterday to tell them "Happy 200 days unit camp day". I LOVE getting IMs and calls from campers. My friends always come to me as the source of information to ask whos coming back and whos not and who applied for what position. I am the see all know all when it comes to my camp. Nothing gets by me because I live it. Needless to say, obsession is the wrong word. It's not an obsession- it is so much more. Without camp I am undefined. It really is my life.
The sad thing is.. it's not me, everyone at my camp is just as bad as me- we have our own crazy quirks, we just don't admit it to eachother.
Loofa
You have campers IM you and call you? Lucky you... :P

I've got boxes of camp things and even more photo albums and scrapbooks. Along with the other camp things that are on display somewhere in my room. I've got a drawer filled with camp t-shirts and I talk about camp so much my friends claim there's no reason for them to go becasue they know what happened anyway. It's gotten so bad that some of them can acually finnish my camp stories they've heard them so many times. A few have even picked up on my camp slang. Which is halarious because they claim it annoys them so much.

haha the im's and calls from campers are the best!!! last night one of my campers decided that she was going to write me a note in an im like when it's my day off. every day off i'd come back and there would be a note from the girls on my pillow about how the day went and anything interesting that happened so i was all updated for the next day. i also just found out last night from the campers that they knew all summer that i wasn't as good friends w/my best friend from other summers and i was upset about it...i didn't tell them anything about it and they just figured it out and they were like last night, "we think you're soooo much cooler than her and we don't like her anymore b/c she ditched you" and i was like "whoaaa girls, its not like i hate her!" but i still felt cool haha.
and loofa basically DESCRIBED me. i do all of that stuff haha.

OOOOOOOOOOooh I got it BAD! I have a photo album, a HUGE scrapbook with more than you can imagine, I took 7 ROLES of pictures during 6 WEEKS at camp this summer, I own tons of staffwear that I wear allllll the time, I talk about it non-stop. My agenda from last year is COVERED in camp pics, my agenda this year too, people say they look like photo albums not daily planners. I talk about it incessently, I eat sleep and breath camp. My family thinks I've lost it cuz it's all I talk about. I'm a member of 2 now forums. And I talk to people from camp at LEAST once daily whether its MSN, webcam, or phone.
