so most people are at camp is there anyone else still here that is not at camp this summer for various reasons or day camp staff. I cant go to camp this year because of university placement - grrr my camps staff training starts today and i feel im missing something cause im not packing and not taking a flight or going anywhere its so sad any tips on how to deal with not being at camp

Mine is a day camp, so I'm still around. I can't believe how dead it's been here since everyone left!

I'm stuck at home this summer as well, or at least that's how it feels today. Today is the day campers get to camp, so it's been a hard one not being there. I'm so campsick. I'm teaching at a year round school at the moment, so working with kids, but not in the same way. I'm looking forward to next summer working at 9 month school and either getting to go back to my old camp (if I can figure out a plan for my cat) or finding a day camp to work at. But camp of some sort!
