Hello to all, Just joined this site. Firsy problem I had has been solved within a day. Many thanks again for al the help. New query is has anybody any ideas for swops my guides can make for camp in July. I have never been to an International camp and would love some ideas that I can make with the guides before we go. Many thanks in advance.

Something around your area/country would probably be best. Two things we've done around here - in one town there is a cracker company. The girls take the crackers, shellac them, put on a label and pin and pass them out. Another is Boston Baked Beans in a pot or a tricorn hat for the Revolution... you get the idea.
Or you can go non-descriptive! Great ideas: http://www.epilogsys.com/ScoutingWeb/Program/CraftsSwaps.htm

You could take some pics of the area and make book marks.
Or simple beaded mecklaces or bracelets in the national colors or those knoted friendship bracelets in the national colors or Irish guiding colors.
If you have time I would suggest that you get the girls to work together to design a badge/patch that you could then get professionally made - but I am not sure how long that would take you may not have time for that.

SWAPS are SO fun!!
I agree that something unique to your area/region/country would be best! Maybe incorporate some coins into your swap??
Search the web -- there's TONS of ideas!!
