Personally I would take the position at camp A as that is the job you want - I think that you will be happier. But that may because all the summer camps I have ever worked at have involved significant amounts of transatlantic travel.

My friend want to work at a specific GS camp and she didnt get a job there but she did get one at its sister camp and she is going back for her 3rd summer working there (and it will be my first summer there)

lol u seem to have answered it yourself! ;) Camp A sounds the best option for you as thats where u want to go and position u want and is a secure space!! B u have said isn't the job u want! Think more of where u would put your best work into and swing with it!!

I would go for camp A: It sounds like you would be most happy there and it also sounds like your gut instinct. Also, I think if you went to B or C you would be full of 'what ifs' all summer long.

Take the job you want and love every minute of it. If you don't, you'll spend part of the summer wondering if you'd be happier elsewhere! By the way, I encourage staff to try a new camp so that they can see how something else runs compared to what they know from being a camper. I'm so glad I did!

I am just going to start working at my 4th diff camp, it will be my 3 GS camp, and I went to an episciple 1 (at which I actually worked on the day camp program). Althought I wasn't happy at this camp I am glad I went cos I not only experienced a diff residential camp (the day camp was on the res. camp) but I also learned what I like to look for in a camp that I wanted to work at.

I want to thank you all for your advice. An update is that I took the camp job at camp A. It is going to be a wonderful summer. Looking forward to it.
