I dont know how many of you are members of Dave's other site. Talkbudgies.com but it seems from what ive noticed for some reason TC has gotten more spam than TB is there any reason for this?

That site gets its fair share of spam as well. However, all threads made in the introductions forum there are moderated so the staff delete most (if not all) of the spam before it reaches the public. So obviously, the spam all targets that one forum over there.

I don't think threads are moderated here. That might be why there seems to be more spam here. Also, this forum is running on an older version of the forum software. That could also be part of the problem. (It's not an old version, just an older version.)

I remember when TalkBudgies was so much smaller than us. I think it has very talkative members lol. But that's a good thing.

I visited Talk Budgie, but as I don't have any budgie it was not so interesting for me: ) Anyway I haven't met any spam on talk camps, so it seems Dave is doing a good job: )
