This section is basically a forum where people can share techniques for dealing with different situations with children. The main point of this forum is not to chat like the others but to help new staff and even experienced staff become more effective counselors. All the methods I will post have been tested by me or others I work with. I have no problem with you taking these techniques to your camps, I myself have acquired these over the years from various sources just please don’t take credit for this compilation. I will try to post a technique at least once a week. If you have any that you would like posted feel free to post it in a new thread or send it to me I will be glad to review and reword it so that it can be understood and applied. If you have any preference to how you want them displayed (i.e. step by step or paragraph form) I would appreciate the input. I will rate them by the effectiveness from my experiences out of 5 stars as you use them I would appreciate feed back on how effective they were for you.
